Prospective Student Information

As an educational community of students, faculty, and staff with interests and expertise in architecture and urban planning, the University of Utah College of Architecture + Planning educates future professionals who are concerned with constructing and maintaining the highest quality in our built and natural environments.

The College community is comprised of 200 architecture students, 140 city and metropolitan planning students, 24 full time and 20 part time faculty, and 7 full-time staff. Since 1951, we have been the only architecture school in Utah and we house the only NAAB-accredited Masters of Architecture degree in the state of Utah. The Masters of City and Metropolitan Planning is also the only professional urban planning degree program in Utah, to be accredited in 2009.
